6 Months!

Our little guy is six months already!  I can't believe how quickly time is passing.

Parker loves to roll over, talk in the car, chew on ANYTHING, and eat in the middle of the night (repeatedly...poor Mama).

He's just started solid foods, and so far sweet potatoes are his favorite.  He's not such a fan of the parsnips (neither is his Mama), but he'll eat them if that's all you're offering.

We just tried apples yesterday, and he actually got the hang of the mesh feeder, he probably would have chewed on that thing for hours (provided he could stay awake that long, which is unlikely).

Parker had his 6-month check-up yesterday.  He is 13lbs, 14oz, 25 1/2" long, and his head is 43cm around.  That would put him in the 25th percentile for length & head size, and 3rd percentile for weight.  So, it would appear that all my work over the last two months to increase my milk supply were for naught, but at least he's still on the chart (if only by a hair).  Accordingly, today's new food we are introducing is coconut oil, maybe that will help fatten him up.  That Kruger metabolism is hard to fight.
