Zoo Trip

We haven't been to the zoo in forever, so a beautiful sunny afternoon seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Shoreline Children's Fire Safety Center

My MOPS table scheduled a playdate at the Fire Safety Center, but most of our table couldn't come, so I invited our small group & Kelly & Fiona.

At some point, our kids will outgrow this place, but not yet!

Look how thrilled Cecily is to go down the pole.

"Swimming"

I told Cecily it is too cold out for swimming, so this was the best she could do.

Grandma's Easter Basket

The kids got some money from Grandma for Easter, so we had to pull their piggie banks out to deposit their money.

Easter Egg Hunt - Part 3

We don't usually do an Easter Egg Hunt at home, but since the cousins were coming over, I thought it would be fun.

You'll notice that Parker & Cecily changed their clothes after Church...

Parker's favorite part of Easter was playing with Joshua's "earth guns"

Easter Egg Hunt - Part 2

What do you do when it's pouring down rain and you've planned an Easter Egg Hunt for 300 kids?  Scatter some eggs around the lunch tables & call it a day.

Easter Egg Hunt - Part 1

My Mom's home does a Family Easter Egg Hunt every year, we went last year and the kids had a great time, so we went again this year.

Parker picked out his own outfit for the party.

They had music, cookies, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.  Just like last year, the kids were terrified of the bunny until it was time to go home.

The kids each decorated a cookie with frosting & candy.

Cecily's was quite a feat of engineering to keep all the candy on.

Believe it or not, she ate all but that little piece in her hand.

Now it's time for the egg hunt!
There weren't too many kids there, so our kids got a TON.

Last year, Cecily cleaned up the place taking everything she could find.  This year, she was much more selective, while Parker totally got into it grabbing eggs until his bucket was overflowing.

Once we got home, we opened all the eggs, and Cecily sorted hers by color (that's my girl):
