Our new toy

My Dad bought the family a new toy this week:

It's for us to share with Doug & Dianne, but since it's parked in our driveway, I imagine that it's primary use will be as a plaything for our kiddos.

They LOVE playing in "the camper" as Parker calls it.

We haven't planned a vacation yet, but we're full of big ideas of how we're going to use this thing.

Keith is Famous!

Or, at least, as famous as one might be when mentioned in a press release on a trade journal.

We'll just ignore that they labeled his photo as "align"

That said, we're still pretty darn proud of him over here.

Sleeping...

I came upstairs and found this on my pillow.

What I find equally amusing is that Keith had just climbed in next to them & fallen asleep too.

It's a construction zone around here!

The cast is off!

Friday morning, 8am, we were at Children's to have Cecily's cast taken off.

She didn't love the saw, but she did a great job.  The Dr says she'll be up & running around like normal in a few weeks.  That seemed like a long time, but now, watching her walk, it probably will take a while for her to get back to normal.  At the moment, she still walks like the cast is on.

Wearing "my Papa coat"

...which is to say, my Dad bought Cecily this jacket.

Dad cannot, however, be held responsible for Parker's outfit.

Visit with Jeff & Katie

The Gerig family came to visit and all I have to show for it are three photos of Cecily eating a doughnut (and a very tired dishwasher).

But, we had a great time with them, touring the area, including a visit to One Cup, a ferry ride, and tons of play time for the kiddos.

Show me your sad face...

Now, show me your cranky face...

For Cecily, we also just call that "show me your face"

Sunshine!

I know it's terrible for the whole global-warming thing, but I've been loving the beautiful weather lately!

"Hey Sess-lee, can I have a Tic-Tac?"

"Here-ee go Parkeh"

...very generous of her, as long as you ignore that she stole these Tic-Tacs from Parker's room initially.

We having a camp fire:

Can you guys smile for me?

...at the same time?

...no?

Fine, I give up.
