Staycation ~ Day 1 ~ Boehms Candy

Keith currently gets more vacation time than we can possibly afford to take "vacations" for, so we took a "stay-cation" this week. I took the opportunity to make a bunch of appointments since I had childcare at home, but in-between Dr's visits, we took a few outings.

 

 

Monday morning, we drove to Issaquah to go out for breakfast & take a tour of the Boehm's Candy factory.  Their guided tours season ended yesterday, so we just did the "window tour", but we did get to try some chocolates.

 

After this trip, every morning Parker asked if we were going out for chocolate.

 

Since we were half-way there, we also stopped by the Snoqualmie Falls.

 

Parker loves the water.

 

But he especially loved climbing on the rocks at the look-out point.

 

Guess it wore us all out!
