When Parker was little, to keep him from falling down the porch stairs, we pretty much just leaned this ancient baby gate against the top of the stairs and that was enough to keep him from falling down. With Cecily...not so much.
So, I got to thinking...
Eventually, we're going to re-do our deck, and when we do, we should get a gate to put at the top of the stairs so kids can't fall down. Too bad we won't get around to it until after Cecily is too old to need it.
I shared this thought process with Keith, and he said, "well, I could make one now". So, one week later, here you go:
Pretty nice, huh? He stained it to match the deck, so once it gets a little weathered, you'll never know it wasn't original. And, Keith got to use his new air compressor, chop saw, table saw, and nail gun. Everyone wins.
