Birthday Party!

We celebrated Parker & Cecily's Birthdays today.

 

 

The Need kids were dressed in their best attire:

 

The weather was a little iffy, but eventually the sun came out and the cousins all had a great time playing outside.

I made a special cupcake for each of the kids.

Parker was a little more hesitant.

 

He's been talking about having chocolate cake on his birthday for WEEKS, but when it came right down to it, he tasted a little of the frosting & then was too distracted by his cousins to eat much of it.

 

Cecily didn't have that problem.

 

My Aunt Rosemary got the kids a card that sings the theme song from Peanuts.

 

Parker loves it.  He was opening & closing the card and dancing around the living room.

 

Oh yeah, that's a cupcake tattoo on his arm.  We had a bucket of tattoos, I don't think any kid left without at least one marking somewhere on their body.
