Let's talk about Parker

I feel like Cecily has been getting the bulk of the attention lately (perhaps because of the screaming?), but Parker is in a super fun phase at the moment.

On the way to church this morning, he was reciting "no more monkeys jumping on the bed".  He hasn't gotten the count-down quite right, but he has the last line perfect.

Speaking of countdowns, our little guy LOVES a count-down, he does it before almost everything.  But at the moment, it tends to go: three, three, FIVE!

He loves showing off his baby "Sess-lee"
One of Parker's favorite descriptive words at the moment is "tiny".  He likes to sit at his "new tiny table", visit the "tiny zoo", and see "tiny Grandma" (that's his new name for my Mom, she'd get a total kick out of being described as "tiny")

Some more of Parker's favorite sayings:
Is better now.
Up high, down low
I do not.
I like some or I would like some.
His vocabulary and understanding is growing every day, it's kind of amazing.  But then, he has plenty of practice, he doesn't really stop talking from the moment he wakes up until he's asleep again.

Parker LOVES Christmas, the first thing he does in the morning is turn on the Christmas tree.  He loves looking at all the lights, he refers to all the decorations as "Christmas" or "Christmas Tree".

He loves Santa, but only in the theoretical, he totally melted-down when we tried to get him to talk to Santa at Keith's office party a few weeks ago.

I asked Parker what he wanted for Christmas, he said a ball...but I might have coached him a little, since he's getting a T-ball set from Santa.

  1. He's adorable Julie! I had so much fun hanging out in his class with him yesterday at MOPS. And the "tiny" thing is hilarious!
