Our Mother's Day started on Friday night. Keith's Mom came up Friday evening & watched Parker so Keith & I could go out. We took full advantage of her visit & went out for dinner, to an improv show, and out for dessert. We got home just before midnight! Of course, we're really too old for that sort of behaviour, so we were exhausted the rest of the weekend.
Then Saturday morning, she watched Parker so I could go to my photography class and Keith could go on his (very soggy) Tour des Engineers bike ride on Whidby Island. Thanks Grandma!
On Sunday, we went to my parent's house for Mother's Day dinner. The entire family was there. This is a pretty rare occurance, so Mom enjoyed having all four grandkids in one spot.
Parker got konked in the head with a rattle Sunday morning at church, so he had a nice welt for all the photos.
Poor little Parker was wiped out by the end of the day.
