All the 1st grade classes had a family gingerbread house making night
It was actually quite nice to make all the mess at school (not to mention leaving all the extra candy behind).
Our kids were surprisingly minimalist with the candy, there were many kids there who could barely lift their plate for all the candy attached to their houses.
