The kids have been wanting to see the Nutcracker, but I wasn't sure they were reliable enough to spend $200+ going to see the PNB show, so we got tickets for the Olympic Ballet Theater's production in Edmonds.
I told her "go get dressed up for the ballet" and this is what she came up with.
I chose to get tickets to the Friday night show, rather than Saturday matinee since we could get better seats. We were in the front row and the kids had a great time. They had a ton of questions, so it took a little to keep them quiet through the show, but they weren't super disruptive and I think they loved it.
