Camp Kruger

Fiona's school was closed the entire week of July 4th, so we got to hang out with her Monday-Wednesday. Parker had a blast playing with his cousin, fortunately the weather was good so we could spend most of the time outside.

Keith installed the sand box just in-time, but you'll notice that the kids spent most of the time digging under the stairs (where we dumped the extra sand).

On Tuesday, we went for a walk to see the construction site down the street:

It was quite an endeavor, I had Cecily in the front pack & the two kids in the double stroller.  Turns out I could have just put Cecily in the stroller, the 2-year-olds walked most of the way.

We spent most of the day going swimming pool -> sandbox -> swimming pool -> sandbox...etc.

Our new sandbox:

Keith made it, it's pretty awesome, the benches fold down to cover the sandbox when we're not using it.

By Wednesday, I was a little stir-crazy (and tired), so we all crammed into the car & went to the park.  Somehow Keith managed to fit three car seats into the back seat of my car.  No one could breathe, but they were safe.

We had a great week, but I won't be opening a day care any time soon, I'm exhausted!
