Parker came home with a massive pile of homework to do over vacation (it was about 20 pages, double-sided, and theoretically "optional"). He did it all before the weekend.
This morning, I got up and found him sitting on the couch, doing a Sudoku. Clearly, not my child.
I'm still recovering from my Christmas day sickness, and the kids clearly aren't at 100% either. So, we downloaded the first Harry Potter book from the library and read the first 40% of the book in one day. This is the first chapter book I've read to the kids and I wasn't sure how they'd do, but Parker LOVES it! Cecily gets bored and has a hard time sitting still for it, but she's sat through most of it too.
