It is (finally) the first day of Christmas Break! Keith took Wednesday-Friday off to hang out with the family, so we celebrated by going to the Rusty Pelican for breakfast.
Parker had already eaten breakfast by the time we got there (10am), so he had toasted cheese.
In the afternoon, we went to see "Sing" with a bunch of Parker's friends from school. I didn't get a photo, but it was pretty fun, we had 9 boys age 6 - 10, we took over an entire row.
After that, we headed over to Bellevue to see the lights at the Botanical Gardens.
We got there right when it opened at 4:30, so it wasn't super dark out, but we still really enjoyed the lights.
It's smaller than I remember, we were done in about 20 minutes, but the lights are amazing, and the kids had a great time. Plus, that was probably about all the kids could handle, seeing how we came straight from the movie and didn't bring hats or gloves (or even a coat for Cecily)
The kids wanted Red Robin for dinner, so we headed over to Bellevue Square. What a disaster... After spending forever getting there, parking, and wandering through the mall to get to the restaurant, the wait to get your name ON THE WAITING LIST was over 10 minutes long. So, we drove over to Crossroads, and waited 15 seconds for an open table.
