Bob's Pumpkin Patch

Parker's Kindergarten class went to the Pumpkin Patch for a field trip:

Since Cecily's school field trip was cancelled at the last minute, we decided to join our MOPS group at BOB's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch.

Unfortunately, once we were there, we realized that unless you're on an "official" field trip, you can only take the tractor ride on the weekends (which is super inconvenient seeing how you have to take the tractor to the actual pumpkin patch).

Anyway, Katie & I decided that $8/person was too much for the corn maze/corn tub/whatever else they had, so we just did the free stuff:

Car rides:

"Hay Rides":

And our favorite - Washing pumpkins:

...seriously, we spent a good hour just washing pumpkin after pumpkin.  Who needs a muddy corn maze?

Cecily found this pumpkin and carried it around almost the whole morning.  Until she found the "cutie" $1 pumpkins and picked one of those.

"No, Mama, I'm not cold"

...not bad for an outing that cost us all of $1

In the evening, Cecily got busy painting her pumpkin:

More paint is ALWAYS better.
