Sunday evening, we went to see the Woodland Park Zoolights with Keith's folks.
We thought there might be rain, but it turned out to be a beautiful, cold, clear night.
The kids had a great time wandering around looking at all the lights.
They have almost twice as many lights this year, and it was really un-crowded, so we had a great time.
We took the kids on the carousel at the end as a special treat.
Parker is obsessed with the carousel, so he loved it. We weren't so sure Cecily would like it, Keith was holding her and she was kicking, and screaming, and wiggling, but as soon as the horses started moving, she settled down and loved it. She, of course, started screaming again once it was over; we had to peel her off the horse and carry her out kicking & screaming.
After that, we kissed our babies good night, strapped them into Grandma's car, and drove downtown for a night at the Westin.
We wandered around downtown, went out for appetizers, and ordered the most expensive chocolate-lava cake ever from room service. It was an amazing night away.
