We started Parker on solids today. I'd been planning to wait until he was 6 months, but he seemed ready, and I didn't have any good reason to wait except that he wasn't yet 6-months, so we went for it.
His first bite:
He LOVED it! As soon as he took his first bite, he grabbed the spoon & tried to shove it back in his mouth.
This is one of those videos that only a Grandma will love, so don't feel compelled to watch it.
All done!
It's impossible to know exactly how much ended up in his tummy, but compared to other babies I've seen eating solids, I think he got a surprising amount in. I'm not entirely sure if he just likes sucking on his bib, or if he's actually trying to suck the last bits of cereal off the bib.
