I texted my friend Heather: "We're going to McMenamin's to see Emily's husband perform, can you watch our kids?"
Her response was: "No, that's Jake's birthday, we'll join you instead."
These are my favorite kind of friends.
It was SO fun, great food, great music, and amazing friends.
