Parker's morning pre-school class was having a "moving-up party", so I grabbed Cecily from class early and we headed over.
Note: the last week of school was also "spirit week" and Wednesday was "costume day" so that's why all the other kids were wearing costumes...Cecily considers every day costume day.
Cecily's favorite part was the snacks: popcorn, lemonade, and some sort of Australian treat made with white bread, butter, & sprinkles (!?!).
Parker's class has been doing a session on Australia, so they sang a song about driving around Australia, where they stop at all the major cities in Australia and do silly motions & dances. (That's Parker in the Superman costume)
Then, there was the moving up song. For weeks, Parker had been practicing, but even after weeks of practice, all I caught was "We're moving up to Kindergarden!"
It was a fun little party, and he got his official diploma.
