It was great to see so many friends together, and get advice from so many experienced Moms.
I somehow missed getting a photo of Auntie Rosemary (she sat between Kelly & Grandma Barb), but she was there, even though Cathee had her baby the morning prior.
I think that Auntie Mary had the most popular advice: "As soon as you feel any pain, get the drugs. Parenthood is painful enough."
Denise (& friends) put together a fantastic buffet of breakfast treats. Although I'm not certain it's very nice thing to do to the mom-to-be to serve mimosas at her baby shower!
We got a ton of great stuff for the baby. I don't think I'll have to buy him any clothes until he's in Junior High.
Grandma Kruger made him an adorable blue sweater with matching blanket.
We got this little outfit from Great-Grandma Barb and Auntie Mary.
Denise made this amazing quilt for out little guy. Notice the bicycle in the bottom corner? Denise may never forgive me for the bicycle theme, but it's perfect!
After everyone left, Keith put together the travel-system that we got from the group.
I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the Chicco people. It took Keith about 20 minutes and NO tools to put the whole thing together. That's about four hours and 10 tools less than our barbecue. And we'll use the stroller every day.
In contrast, while Keith was putting together the stroller, I put the baby-monitor system together...which required two different kinds of screwdrivers just to insert the batteries.
