Coach Pitch

Parker graduated to "coach-pitch" baseball this year.  He LOVED it!

At the beginning of the season we weren't sure any of the boys would ever actually get a hit, much less make it on-base.  But by the end of the season, each of the boys was hitting & running like the pros.

Taegen & Gracie joined us before one game:

After the last game, we headed to Menchie's for a party.

Each of the boys got a baseball trophy, which Parker now displays proudly with his T-Ball trophy.

Church Camp

We had our all-church camp-out in June this year.  The weather wasn't as great as last year, but it was certainly better than two years ago, which is our standard for camping weather.

Cecily & I spent most of the morning watching Ella & Gracie do fun things like the flying squirrel and the rock wall.  I couldn't get Cecily to do anything, but she seemed content to watch her friends.

Honestly, as long as these two girls are together they have a pretty great time.

We girls had a great morning before Cecily finally forced me to go swimming (no, it was not actually warm enough for that)

Fluffy goes to college

Cecily went to the UW to do a test at the I-Labs and Fluffy wanted to come along.  So, she got to watch on the monitors with me.

Kid's Choir

Parker wanted to join the spring kid's choir.  It ended up just being a few kids, but they did a great job and Parker was pretty darn adorable up on stage.

He's (obviously) the youngest, the other kids were all in 2-4th grade.

Bike Ride

Keith took the kids on a bike ride.

I believe it went something like this:
Getting the bikes & children ready: 45 minutes
Riding bikes to the school: 5 minutes
Playing on the playground at school: 45 minutes
Riding bikes home: 5 minutes
Putting all the bikes & gear away: 30 minutes

I'm glad he finds the bike part worthwhile!

She picks out her own clothes

...as if you couldn't tell.

This one matches because it's hearts:

Shopping

Getting Cecily dressed in the morning has become and increasingly difficult process.  All her clothes are either too itchy, too small (according to her), or actually too small (according to Mama).

So, I decided to take her up to the outlet malls and let her pick out her own wardrobe.  We went straight from dropping the big kids off at school and the drive wasn't bad so we ended up there half an hour before the stores opened, so, cake pops at Starbucks it is!

I ended up buying her about a dozen new outfits, but I'm pretty sure that this 50-cent ride was her favorite part of the entire day:
