Go Sounders!

My High School Alumni Association was doing a Sounders night, so we bought tickets for all of us.

We (or I, at least) haven't been to a Sounder's Game since Parker was a baby.  It took forever to get downtown and find parking, but that aside, we had a great time.

Cecily didn't care so much, but she did enjoy the hot dog & pretzel.

Day Off!

The kids had Friday off for Parent/Teacher conferences, so we went downtown to have lunch with Keith.

We waited until Jared got off work, so we didn't get downtown until about 2, so we stole Keith from work and went to the downtown retail section and had lunch at the Yard House.

After lunch we wandered around downtown & went shopping, it was a really fun afternoon.  I really do enjoy no-school days.

Halloween Preview

Cecily got a cloak, so Parker needed a cloak...

Of course, I don't know why we bother, since we always end up watching whatever Cecily wants since she's the loudest screamer.

School Picture Day!

I always like to take a picture before school to compare with whatever they might look like a few hours later once they actually have their picture taken.

Oh my word, Parker's socks...

Picture day is one of about 3 days a year where I dictate what Parker wears.  So, this morning, he comes out with the shirt, sweater, and socks I laid out, and a pair of bright grey basketball shorts.  These shorts are our compromise, but by that point it was too late to back down on the socks (which would have been covered by the pants I chose).

...hopefully he's not in the front row of the class photos, but based on his (fairly under-average) height, I'm not holding my breath.
