Science Night

This is not my favorite night of the year, the school is super crowded and chaotic, but the kids were really excited, so off we went.  Cecily got to meet a stick bug.

Kemper Development Holiday Party

We got to go to the Kemper Development Holiday Party, we don't really know anyone, but the food is amazing so it's a fun free date night.

Getting the Christmas Tree

We went to our usual spot to get our Christmas tree.  The weather was great and we found one pretty easily.

We usually put our tree in the space between the dining room & the living room, but this year our tree was so busy we had to move it into the living room.

Also, this year I decided to buy some new Christmas mugs.  We have a ton of Christmas mugs already, but none of them hold ENOUGH COFFEE, so we up-sized this year.

It's been a few years since we've had professional photos taken of the family, so I hired our youth pastor's wife (Cat Ruchalski Photography) to take a few photos.  Cat (and her 5-week old baby) met us at Richmond beach to get a few shots.  I love how they turned out.

I am thankful for my dog because is die today, my mom is going to the vet.

Fruitcake

My Dad loves fruitcake for some reason, so in our house it's a Thanksgiving tradition to make him two loafs of fruitcake.  In his house, it's tradition to frantically finish up the fruitcake he's been hoarding since last Christmas.

Parker was at a birthday party all afternoon.  Cecily has greatly enjoyed being an only child for a few hours.
