Chocolate

The little one found a bar of unsweetened baking chocolate.
...I think it will be a while before she tries to sneak chocolate again.

I'm starting to think she may never outgrow this.

Our newest pets

There is a young couple at our church that has a honey company (http://rainydaybees.com/).  They were looking for new hive hosts, so we offered up the unused corner of our back yard.

The kids have had a blast watching the bees fly around and learning all about bees and honey making from Peter & Amy Beth.  The kids have started naming the bees and any time we see a bee out in the neighborhood they ask if it's one of "our" bees.

Elsa is a hot mess

Cecily's Elsa doll pretty much started falling apart when I opened the box.  Finally, I couldn't stand it so I gave the girls a conditioning hair treatment and I washed & fixed Elsa's dress.

So much better, we'll see how long it lasts.

Norwex battle

I got a shipment of Norwex, so the kids were fighting with the dusting wand and the dry mop.

Because more shelves make everything better.

I've been watching WAY too much HGTV, so I decided we needed a coffee station.

Boom, there you go:

Date Night!

Our small group has this brilliant idea that once a month, one family watches ALL the kids so the other 5 sets of parents can have a date night.  It's so great, we watch the kids twice a year and get 10 date nights out of it.

This time, Keith & I took the Theo Chocolate tour in Fremont.

Then we went to my new favorite Sandwich shop, Mammoth in Eastlake

Parker fell asleep in his football book, so I guess he had a good time too.

Shoe Shopping

Parker wore holes in the bottom of his Captain America shoes, so it was time to go shopping!  Cecily decided she needed a pair of sneakers, so naturally, we ended up with a pair of sandals with flowers on them.

First Day of T-Ball

In case you've been living under a rock and hadn't heard, Parker had his first day of T-ball on Monday.

He's been talking about it for MONTHS and he is beside himself excited.

They ended practice with a little game, most of the kids could make it to 1st base, but after that all bets were off... Most kids just stayed put, except for Taegen who got tired of waiting for the kid ahead of him to run and just started lapping his teammates.  The whole thing was hilarious.
