Happy Valentines Day
Happy Valentines day children, have your super-romantic pink valentine's breakfast that I clearly put tons of thought into:
I did make a fancy(ish) dinner.

Fancy Dips Dinner
We went to Costco and Parker wanted to buy some artichokes, so we went all-in. Artichokes, veggies, hummus, cheese, crackers, you name it, if you can eat it with your fingers or dip it in something, we ate it.

Messy Eaters
Cute, yes. Clean, not so much.
This is why I generally prefer to feed her in her high chair, it's a little bit more contained.

Dinner with Cecily
"Mama, I want some"
"No, not that one, the other one"
"No, not that other one, the other other one"
"Never mind, I found it."
...a typical meal with Cecily Anne

Greek Gods has a new yogurt flavor
Orange & Honey-covered-baby
And this is what she looked like AFTER I wiped her off:
She managed to find Parker's bowl and help herself.

Otter Pops
Otter Pops are an important part of growing up in the summer. Sure, they're just water, sugar, and artificial flavors & colors with no redeeming value, but sometimes you have to let it go & enjoy the sunshine.
I gave Cecily a chunk of my Otter Pop in her mesh feeder, I think she's a fan.
Parker was still waking up, so he's not so sure. Give him another half-hour and he'll be all-over it.

Apples & Peanut Butter
This young man ate nearly two whole apples:
And this young lady ate several slices herself.
Who says you need teeth to eat apples?

Sweet Potatoes
Cecily loves sweet potatoes, but because she's Cecily, she won't eat them from a spoon, so they have to come out of the pouch. Unfortunately, the last batch I made was too thick for her to suck out (perhaps because I have several little people constantly drawing my attention from my cooking?). So, I squeezed a big pile out on her tray & she went to town.
...which is how Cecily ended up taking a bath before Parker was even up for the day on Thursday.

Sweet Potato & Quinoia
As long as she can pick it up herself or suck it out of a pouch, it would appear that this little girl will eat about anything so far.
Bonus points for getting it behind her ear.
