We got to see Avengers!

We arranged a last-minute date swap with our friends to go see Avengers Endgame.  It was so chaotic/last minute that Keith & I had to meet at the theater, but we loved it.

New clothes for Ameda

Cecily filled her marble jar, so we headed over to the American Girl store to buy a new outfit for Ameda.  This is one very excited little girl.

Church Campout

We moved out church campout to Black Diamond camp this year, the location was amazing.  They had slide bikes, rock walls, and all manner of ball games, so Parker was happy.

They had an indoor pool and goats so Cecily had all she'd ever wanted from a weekend.

And I got to sleep in an actual bed and hang out with grown-ups after bedtime, so a great time was had by all.

Then we came home to discover that our spare refrigerator gave out shortly after we left and the whole basement smelled like warm chicken.

But this is the cleanest it's ever been...

Movie Time

For the first time ever, I went to see a movie alone while the kids were at school.  And by alone, I mean A. L. O. N. E., there was only one other person in the theater.

Keith & I were trying desperately to find time where we could go see Avengers Endgame together, but we figured we needed to see Captain Marvel first.  Since it was nearly impossible to find time for us both to see both movies, I went to see Captain Marvel alone and told him the basic plot points so he didn't get majorly lost in Endgame.

Memorial Day Camping

We met Dianne & family at the Port Angeles KOA for the weekend.  It poured down rain for the first night, but once the sun came out, we had a great time.

Parker's second time at base

Because of a rained-out game being re-scheduled, our opposing team on Saturday only had 5 players.  So, the Titans "shared" a few players with the other team.  Which lead to Parker's second turn at pitching, only against all his friends.  It's tricky to play against your friends, but he had a great time anyway.

After the game, I took the kids over to Whidbey to spend the night with their cousins.  Pay no attention to the screaming Cecily in the back seat, she wasn't feeling it.

We made a photo album for Coach Steve with a photo of each player and a quote about their favorite part of playing baseball.  Parker's response: "Pitching".  I was hoping for something more like "playing with all my friends and having a great time", but whatever.
