Leavenworth Vacation

It was obscenely hot in Leavenworth the entire week, but that didn't stop our kids from hanging out in the hot tub 24/7.

Our favorite part of family vacations is hanging out with the cousins, and going on adventures with Auntie Denise, who is way more fun than Mama.

Our last day, we headed down the highway a bit to a petting farm.

We got to feed goats, sheep, and a peacock.

It's not a family vacation without attempting a photo of all the grandkids.

Leavenworth Vacation - Cecily's Birthday

We were in Leavenworth with the family for Cecily's birthday, so we let her plan the day.  We started with going out for breakfast at a coffee shop in town.

Then, we headed over to Lake Wenatchee for a beach day.  Cecily wanted to bring Piper, so we couldn't leave Wesley behind.  So, we took four kids to the beach for Cecily's birthday.  Amazingly, as usual, this was way easier than just two kids at the beach.

Then, we headed back to the house for Cecily's favorite meal: steak and cupcakes.

Leavenworth Vacation - Golfing is hard

Keith has been trying to develop a golf hobby, so he was determined to go golfing while we were on vacation.  Although I'm not a golfer, I do enjoy hanging out with Keith, so I came along.

About two holes in, Dwayne & I gave up on all the rules.  We weren't real good, but it was fun.

By the time we finally made it to the 9th hole, it was 100-degrees out and I was exhausted, but we made it...and probably only lost about 5 balls.

Lemonade Sale

We put on a lemonade stand with our friends to raise money for school supplies for foster kids.  Turns out, our kids are natural salespeople, they spent the whole time yelling & calling for people to come to our sale.  It was adorable.

Funko

Since we were already in Everett, I took the kids to check out the Funko store.

I think Cecily might have enjoyed it more than Disneyworld.

Parker liked it too, but refused to be in any photos.

Cecily's Cheer Camp

Cecily is doing Richmond Cheer this year, and she had a 3-day cheer camp in Everett.

It was crazy hot all week, but she had a blast learning new cheers and getting to know all her teammates. 

Camping

We went with our friends for our annual camping trip to Lake Goodwin.

Saturday afternoon, we went to our other friend's parent's house in Stanwood for super-slip-n-slide day.

You could tell this was our second go-round, since the kids were already down the slip-n-slide before we'd even gotten out of the motorhome.
