Trip to IKEA

Cecily is ready for a new bed, so we headed down to IKEA.

But first, lunch!

By some miracle, I managed to get everything bought, attached to the car, and driven home.

Two hours later:

I wouldn't recommend trying to put one of these things together with the help of 2 preschoolers and Jared, but I got it up.  I'll let Keith worry about re-arranging the room to make it fit on the wall.

Attitudes

Cecily likes to refer to her attitude in the third person:

"Mama, how do you like this attitude?"
"That's a great attitude! Can that attitude brush her teeth?"
"Yeah!"
"Does she need help?"
"I can help her!"

Meeting Cousin Amber

Brian & Sandi came up for the weekend, so I got my baby fix in.

She pretty much slept the whole weekend, I don't know what Brian & Sandi are complaining about...

Denise & the kids took over the cul-de-sac for races.

Jared even held Amber...until she made a tiny noise, then he's over it.

No Mama, I not sleepy, I just want a cozy little bed.

She really didn't want to take a nap...

Until she climbed into my lap 20 minutes before we had to go pick up Parker.

Zoo trip

We got to see the bear up close & personal!

Except for the bear, this was the trip where we saw every single sculpture and not a single actual animal.
