Lake Wenatchee

Keith took the week off an we headed to Lake Wenatchee for our first camping trip longer than 2 nights.

We left the windows & doors open while we were setting up and this little guy wanted to hang out with us.

Monday was RAINY!  We headed over to Leavenworth for the morning and then my friend Emily and her family came over for the afternoon.

Emily was planning to spend the night, but after the pouring rain they just stayed past dinner & headed back home again.  Something about wet tents and two small girls...

The rain did finally stop enough that we could get out for dinner.

Cecily loved chatting with baby Alice

By Tuesday, the sun had come back out and we were ready to head to the beach.

Cecily has taken to posing like this most of the time.  I asked her "Cecily, where on earth did you learn all these poses?"
"Fashion"
...awesome

Our campground was across the river from the swimming area that I was familiar with from when I was a kid, but the river turned out to be a great place for swimming and WAY more convenient to get to.

You know you're tired when you fall asleep at the table, driving down the road.

Happy Birthday Cecily!

I can't believe this little critter is FOUR!

Part of me feels like this was just yesterday.

Another piece of me feels like I have fought hard for every. single. one. of her 1,461 days on this earth.

We were headed out camping on Cecily's birthday, so we celebrated in the morning.

I love giving this girl gifts because she LOVES everything and she's super excited no matter what it is.

For their big gift this year, we got the kids tickets to see Wild Kratts Live! in September.  Since they wouldn't understand receiving a tiny envelope with four tickets inside, I made them a count-down chain & let Parker open it.

This little girl keeps us on our toes!  But she is super fun to play with and loves life.  She will be a force to be reckoned with one day!

We went to One Cup for breakfast and got Cecily a cinnamon roll the size of her head.

Just harvesting in my jammies

You will notice that this current post is on the same day as this post, only two hours apart and she's wearing completely different jammies.  That's how we roll.

Getting ready for bed

...never mind that it's 5:30 in the evening.

Look at those curls!

A boy lives here.
